Conferencing

The conference services include audio, video and web conference services as options of communication channel to our users. These services are designed to assist members of UM community in the organization of quality online meetings, presentations, interviews, teaching and learning activities.




eFax Service

eFAX allows staff to create, send, receive and manage faxes directly from their computer. It saves time waiting in front of fax machine and the expenditure for toner and paper of fax machines. It is convenient, environmental friendly, and can increases the confidentiality of fax.




Staff Email Service

Staff Email is a stable and secure email platform based on Microsoft Exchange solution. In addition to the email function It also provides the collaborative functions such as task and calendar. Staff can access the service by using MS Outlook, Outlook Web App (OWA), MS Exchange ActiveSync on mobile device (e.g. Android devices, Apple devices and Windows phone, etc.) and generic IMAP / SMTP services.




Telephony Service

ICTO provides advanced communication facilities and services based on IT for all UM staff. Extension and IP Phone will be given to individual full time staff. Staff may also apply IDD passcode for making IDD call if necessary.




UM@Connect Lifelong Email Service

UM@Connect is a lifetime email service for students and it is based on Microsoft Office 365 cloud solution. Moreover, students are welcome to apply UM@Connect Email Alias to supplement the email address with User ID.




Video Streaming service

ICTO can assist in broadcasting the video of ceremonies, public speeches, or performances etc. to the Intranet on a live instantaneous basis. Users can view the live Intranet broadcasts by simply clicking on the appropriate link on pre-announced web page.
